We install British Board of Agrement (BBA) approved cavity wall insulation systems, which are for both new build construction and existing property installations and undergo stringent quality control processes.
Cavity wall insulation will take approximately half a day and is installed by drilling into the mortar joints of the exterior walls. To ensure the cavity is completely filled to BBA approval, drilling is carried out at predetermined points over the external walls prior to installation. All work has a 25year guarantee issued by CIGA.
Bead
A revolutionary cavity wall insulation is a bonded bead system which utilises two basic components. A specially manufactured closed cell polystyrene thermal bead is coated with an air drying adhesive.
The adhesive sets, creating beads which bond into a homogeneous heat saving mass which will not shrink, crack, settle or be affected by any possible removal of outer brickwork. By installing a bonded bead system into the cavity wall, the thermal performance is much improved creating a greater ‘U’ value and gives upto 15% better insulation.
